What is Safe Trip and live tracking?

Safe Trip is a set of safety tools available while a trip is active.

• Check-ins — confirm you are safe at intervals during your trip.
• Live location — optionally share your location so the system can record your route.
• SOS — send an emergency alert that uses the emergency phone number from your settings.

All Safe Trip features are opt-in. Open the LIVE view on an active trip to use them, and make sure your emergency contact number is set in Settings.
